Title
[LB023065], Letter from Samuel Insull to Melvil Dewey, November 3rd, 1886
Editor's Notes
Referring to your favor of the 21st. Ulto., which has remained unanswered owing to Mr. Edison's absence from the City, I beg to enclose you what he considers the quickest method of writing. Mr. Edison used this method when he was a telegraph operator taking Associated Press Reports, and he claims that he could write more rapidly and with less fatigue than by another other means. You will notice that every letter is written seperately.
