- I must apologize for the unavoidable delay which has occurred in answering your letter of 11th inst. ## The Ore Miling Company was organized for the purpose of providing funds to conduct certain experiments in the seperation of Ores and these experiments are still in progress. ## Following is an extract from the Annual Report of the Company filed on 19th of Jan last. ## "The assets of the company consist of 430 shares of its own stock in the measuring of the company letters patent and contracts and machinery of the value of about $1000. The existing debts of the company do not exceed $5000 for money expended for its use and for {illegible} performed and for machiney supplied" The affairs of the company are at present in a wholly experimental state and the value of the stock will of course {illegible} upon the results attained. ## This being the case it is not for {illegible} for me to set a price upon the stock at present there having been no recent sales within my {illegible} nor can I say what its future value may be. ## Any other information you desire I will be glad to furnish.
