Enclosed please find letters from The Harden Hand Grenade (?) people of St. Louis under date 24th inst. Covering a clipping from the St. Louis Globe Democrat in reference to the Edison Fire Extinguishers. (#205 Law Building {illegible} St. Louis, Mo). I also annex a communication from W.J. Maurice of St. Louis who states that the Manufacturers of the above device represent it as one of my inventions. I have replied to eeach of these letters denying my connection with the machine and wish you would kingly take the necessary legal action to have the misrepresentation suppressed.
