- Upon my return to New York after a protracted absence I find your letters of 4th and 13th inst. ## Mr. Livor informs me that you said in reply to a communication from him that a representative of your firm would be in New York shortly. I think this would be the most satisfactory way of closing up all matters pending between us and at the time we could together consult Mr. Edison's solicitors in regard to the liability of the Broderick Copygraph Company. ## I consider it very important that you should know exactly how you stand in relation to the above company as they have a machine which will materially interfere with your own sales in the East if it be allowed to remain on the market. ## Kindly let me know where your representative will be here.
