I saw Mr. Edison this morning in reference to a settlement of your claim against him in the matter of the Indian & Colonial Electric Light Co. Mr. Edison says that he would like to make this payment in cash just as soon as the Edison Machine Works returns to him the amount which he loaned them, the particulars of which I explained orally to you the other day.
