Title
[LB025044C], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Paul D Dyer, July 20th, 1887
Editor's Notes
Mr. Edison has read over your letter of the 11th instant in reference to the mine in which you wish to interest him. He has asked me to say to you that owing to the large expenditures now necessary consequent upon the creation of his new laboratory, every cent of his available money is tied up, and therefore it is impossible for him to enter into the scheme you suggest. ## I have sent your letter on to Mr. Insull at Schenectady and he will doubtless address you from there as to his wishes in the matter.
