- Editor's Notes
- I sent you last night my first draft of letter to Gouraud re patent matters. I send you now the final draft where in instead of referring to the "contract" with you I refer to his "prefer"### Gouraud agreements have not beeen executed and are yet subject to such change as you see fit to make in them. I did not think it politic to sat that in the letter to him he will in for enough from the manner in which agreeement is referred to.### I think this correspondence should be followed up and Gouraud should be given to understand that you are the masterandyours instructions must be respected.### He thinks to deafen you with the noise of his London slideshows while he keeps quietly at would securing his own territory in an unscrupulous and thoroughly selfish manner.### His policy isnot to reply to such letters as the one I am sending word now we never recived even an acknowledgement of the other letter we send about his methods of advertising you in [w--0] stlye They have the effect only of causing him to conceal what he is doing .He wished to avoid open discusssion This should not be permittted.
