Gourauds cable misleading as he refers only to effect of short term patents on long term foreign patents ignoring effect of former on United States patents. He has not made short term applications in connection with two last important cases sent him so I will do nothing further until I hear from you. Mailed you last night final draft of letter to Gouraud which contains some alterations. Advise me a day or two before your return so I can control correspondence.
