- "We have just incorporated the Edison Phonograph Works, a manufacturing company which has the exclusive right to manufacture phonographs and phonograph supplies for the whole world. ### I will have the contracts here on Monday and if you care to look into the matter you could see them at my Laboratory, or I could have my Private Secretary Mr. Tate call upon you in New York at such place as you may appoint. ### I have thought that you might wish to become interested with a few others of your acquaintance."
