- "I beg to enclose you herewith samples of a pure parchment paper from the Paterson Parchment Paper Co. Paterson N.J. and I think it beats Crane's Paper. I find Crane's paper has glue in it and the samples enclosed are exceedingly tough and I think will take Oil well and costs fifteen cents per pound in sheets any size. You had better send for a lot and try it and it may make a great saving. ### Take a piece of each (Crane's and Paterson Parchment Paper Co} and wet them and try the toughness of them."
