- Editor's Notes
- "I am trying to place a date where certain business was transacted by Mr. Edison in connection with which you can assist me. You will remember being at the Laboratory one day during the summer just past and having a long conversation with you in regard to 'Drop Nickel' Phonograph affairs. Messrs. Tomlinson, Gilliland, and Lippincott were out here the same day and we could not get at Mr. Edison on that account. That is the day I am trying to locate on the calendar- Can you name the date? If not can you tell me if it was before or after the 28th day of June. ### Kindly [unclear] hear from you as soon as possible." Sincerely yours, A.O. Tate
