"I have another letter from Mr. Holly. He asks for the depth from the underside of floor beams to the top of concrete foundations, so that by comparing this with the original grade in his office, the extra number of brick can be ascertained. Please furnish me with a plan, showing measurements in accordance with the way in which you claim the foundations were laid. If you cannot furnish these measurements, can you indicate the points where the foundations are stepped? Please let me hear from you, so I can communicate with Mr. Holly." Yours truly, AO Tate
