Editor's Notes: "At the end of December I am going to close out the Laboratory books for the year 1888, and before that time arrives I want to have our records as complete as possible. ### As you know, we have never had on our books a record of the loan which Mr. Edison made to the Edison Machine Works and the various transactions with Drexel, Morgan & Co. in connection with this loan.
