- "Mr. Edison asks me to say in reply to your letter of 1st instant that he will be very glad to entertain the member of your institute at his Laboratory on February 20th, in the way you suggest. A paper on Mr. Edison's Ore Milling process will be prepared, to be read on that day, and the machine will be in running order, so that the members may witness a practical test. ### Mr. Edison asks me to say further that he will be very glad to become a member of your institute. ### I will communicate with you later in regard to the details of the arrangement which we will make for transportation &c."
