- Editor's Notes
- "I return herewith Col. Gouraud's letter addressed to yourselves, under date 17th Nov. last, in relation to patents, after [unclear] a copy of the same for our files. I am very much obliged for your letter of 13th instant on the same subject, and I enclose herewith copy of a communication under date 15th inst. addressed to Col. Gouraud by Mr. Edison. In this letter you will see that Col. Gouraud is given absolute instructions as to the course which he must pursue in the work of taking out patents. Do you consider that it covers the ground fully? I should like very much to receive any suggestions which you may consider desirable to make." Yours very truly, AO Tate
