- "I have your letter of 27th instant, enclosing a communication from Mr. Frazar's representatives in Yokohama. ### I attach copy of a letter addressed by Mr. Edison to the Berlin Company, protesting against their making quotations on electric lighting material for China and Japan. I attach also copy of our letter to the Cic. Continentale Edison on the same subject, also copy of the reply made us by the latter Company. The Berlin Company has not yet acknowledged our letter, and if I do not hear from them within a few days, I will write them again. I may add that Mr. Frazar has had copies of this correspondence."
