- Editor's Notes
- "I have received from Mr. Dredge a statement of Mr. Wiley's account on the 1st of Dec., in which I observe that you are credited with advances to the extent of thirty pounds. I have also received your letter of 18th inst., enclosing a statement of advances made Mr. Wiley to the extent of ninety pounds, the last advance having been made on the 8th of November. Mr. Dredge [unclear] account shows a debit against Mr. Wiley of 1-0-0, but he has not give you credit for the additional sixty pounds. We have written Mr. Wiley for an explanation, and as soon as we get the matter straightened, will be glad to have you draw for the amount which you have advanced."
