- Editor's Notes
- "Replying to your letter 16th inst. Mr. Edison will be very pleased to have you come on and see your ore treated by his magnetic separator. You can send a barrel of ore forward at once consigned to the Laboratory and [unclear] to ensure recognition upon delivery. This we will hold until your arrival. It will be necessary for you to advise us a few days in advance of your coming so that your work may not conflict with any other of our arrangements. ### A Company has been formed controlling the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, under the Edison patents, but there is not the least doubt that a satisfactory arrangement can be made with them when you desire to negotiate." Yours very truly, AO Tate
