Abstract

"In reference to your letter of 15th instant, it is Mr. Edison's intention to sell the phonograph motor separate from the phonograph. They will be, in all probability, made by the Edison Phonograph Works, Orange, N.J. We cannot give you any information in regard to price &c., as we have just commenced manufacture and our [unclear] is not complete.
