- Editor's Notes
- "I have received the following cablegram from Concepcion:- ### 'Offer twenty thousand dollars phonograph privilege [unclear]. Answer Stewart Concepcion.' ### Mr. W.N. Stewart, who sends this cablegram, has represented the Edison Electric Light interests in Chile for a number of years. I think that I have sent you letters of his inquiring about the phonograph. You may, therefore, find his name in your files. ### I cabled you this morning as follows:- ### 'Stewart Concepcion offers twenty thousand dollars phonograph privilege Chile. Wire me decision. Edison.' ### I suggested your cabling your decision in case you should be confused as to Mr. Stewart's address." Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
