I have received the following cablegram from Concepcion: "Offer twenty thousand dollars phonograph privilage [Chile?] Answer Steward Concepcion." Mr. W. N. Stewart, who sends this cablegram, has prepresented the Edison Electric Light interests in Chile for a number of years. I think that I have sent you letters of his inquiring about the phonograph. You may, therefore, find his name in your files. I cabled this morning as follows:-- "Stewart Concepcion offers twenty thousand dollars phonogrpah privilege Chile. Wire me decision. Edison." I suggestedyour cabling me your decision in case you should be confused as to Mr. Stewart's address.
