"I am in receipt of a letter from Mr. Skehan, Treasurer of the Electric Illuminating Co., to the effect that Mr. Edison cannot qualify as a Director of that Company on the script which he holds. Mr. Skehan says that he will transfer ten shares of stock, if agreeable, in exchange for $1,000 of the script. I presume that this had better be done." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
