Title
[LB027960], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Cornell University, Robert Henry Thurston, January 29th, 1889
Editor's Notes
I have received your letter of 17th instant, and am going to send you a large dynamo which will have a capacity of either 200, 250, 300 amperes, depending upon the stock on hand at my works in Schenectady. I am glad to hear of the progress which you are making at Cornell. I will let you know in a day or two which of the three machines mentioned I will be able to send. Their capacity in lamps is, as you of course know, double the ampere capacity." Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
