- [LB028155], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to David Nicholls Ropes, February 9th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- "Some gentlemen called here the other day, in regard to placing four or five poles in front of the Farrand property on Bloomfield Ave., for the purpose of running wires for an electric railway. I have lost the address of the gentleman representing the electric railway in Newark, but I believe you are familiar with his name, as he stated he called to see you before calling to see me. We have no objection to these poles being erected. Will you very kindly convey this information to the proper person." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
