Writes to provide a current update for the Edison Phonograph works. The company has the exclusive right to manufacture phonographs for use in the US and for export, makes a 20% profit. Does not have a set price but charges 20% more after material, labor and general expenses. Right now has orders for eighty phonographs per day which amounts to $500 per diem, or $150,000/year. Includes a detail business sheet showing assets and liabilities. Also provides a written explanation of the liabilities and expenses. Next provides a description of equipment, material, and buildings. Notes that they make 150 complete phonographs every 24 hours or about $5000 to $6000 work/day.
