Title
[LB028421], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to L M Ruben, February 28th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I have your letter of 27th instant, in regard to the agency of the phonograph for the Kingdom of Denmark. Mr. Edison’s General Agent for the phonograph in Europe, is Colonel George E. Gouraud, Little Menlo, Upper Norwood, Surrey, England. Who has full charge of the allotment of territory in all foreign countries, and to whom it would be necessary for you to apply for an Agency in Denmark. I may say that Col. Gouraud is acquainted with General Christensen, whose excellent letter I return herewith, and if the former has not disposed of the territory which you desire to secure, I believe that Gen’l Christensen’s recommendation would assist you greatly in obtaining a favorable hearing from Col. Gouraud. I also return to you Mr. Chas. F. Tretbar’s letter." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
