- Editor's Notes
- "Mr. Edison asks me to thank you for your kind inquiry of 3d instant regarding his recent accident, which was painful but not serious. He has fully recovered from the effects of it. He asks me to say further that the delay in connection with supplying you with instruments for Mexico has been absolutely unavoidable. We have a great many phonographs completed, excepting the spectacle part, for which we have only just received from the manufacturers our special tools. In a week or two we will have plenty of phonographs complete, and will be able to fit you out. Mr. Edison realizes that you have not been responsible for this delay." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
