Title

[LB028634], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edison Machine Works, John Kruesi, March 13th, 1889

Editor's Notes

"Will you please try these experiments? Take one of the samples of insulating compounds sent you some time since. One does not become sufficiently fluid to soak into the bottom and [squirt it into a cotton covered wire, then braid the sample over and soak it in the compound in a melted state. ### We have tried this method here and it gives very good results enabling us to put on a very thick and fireproof material without the use of a solvent." ### Also let us know if you consider this process a feasible one with respect of cash."
