Title
[LB028701], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Dyer and Seely, March 20th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"Mr. Edison has read your letter of 11th instant, and the writer explained his views orally to your Mr. Seely a few days ago regarding foreign Ore Milling patents, Set 89. I now beg to confirm my verbal statement of Mr. Edison's wishes, which are that, inasmuch as there is no gold in Norway, you can omit that portion of your application for that country which relates to gold. In regard to Germany, Mr. Edison desires you to make the first claim, also the claim covering colithic iron ores, leaving out the gold process." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
