- Editor's Notes
- "When can you make us a remittance for a/c Lamp Co. Experiments. After deducting all your Paris Exposition bills rendered to date, there is a debit against you of 3199.36 and February a/cs yet to be included. They will swell the amt. To at least of 5000. I'm getting a little short of funds as the [Germania?] Banke has been unable to discount [Lamp Mach Wks?] paper which I expected would 'go' all right, but Mr. Douglas already has $20,000 of the same paper under discount (for you I presume-- there is none in Mr. Edison's a/c) and of course he cannot do more. He has been very kind and I know would accommodate us if he could."
