"I enclose herewith report from the State Department of New Jersey regarding the affairs of the Edison Lamp Company. I notice that the Statute under which this report is made says that it should be filled within thirty days after the normal time of the annual meeting of the Directors. I have, therefore, not dated the paper, as I am not sure whether we can date it back so as to conform to this provision. I think your Mr. Upton is familiar with the subject, and would suggest that the date be filled in by him." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
