"We are much obliged for your letter of 16th instant. We shall be ready to cast the new pattern zincs whenever notified to do so. We are procuring a sample of the pure zinc sold by Messrs. Edes, Mixter & Heald, of Plymouth, Mass., to which you called our attention in your letter under reply, and after we have analyzed the same, we will report to you its merits."
