- "In reply to your letter of 21st instant to Mr. Edison, the original article of which the shipping enclosed with your communication is a copy, appeared in the NEW YORK WORLD, and bears the trade mark of the Westinghouse Company, although they succeeded in having the advertisement printed in the WORLD without being followed by the three stars which usually accompany an advertisement of that kind. The Westinghouse people have no special facilities for familiarizing themselves with Mr. Willard's business, and you need place no reliance upon the report in question." Yours truly [signed] A.O.
