"I send you herewith for your information copy of Col. Gouraud's cablegram received to-day, with Mr. Edison's reply to same:--##"T.A. Edison London, via New York, April 1st 1889 ### Orange, N.J.##Very important to know reliable date and number next shipment. If not immediate cable Hammer send six from Paris, returnable if necessary. Am liable heavy damages failure exhibition contract based on dates provisionally given, besides paying big rent lecture hall which cannot utilize. Fifty-two lectures booked April.
