- Editor's Notes
- ["Personal"] "I have your letter of 26th instant. ### Major McLaughlin was at the Laboratory yesterday, and spent several hours at the Phonograph Works. He is thoroughly posted as to the state of affairs there, and told me that he intended writing you fully on the subject. There will be very little further delay in supplying phonographs, as our factory is now in first class condition. The orders under which we are turning out phonographs are for a sufficiently large number to cover all your requisitions, so that you need have no anxiety on that point. I will let you know personally (not officially) when we commence making delivery of machines to the North American people." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
