Title

[LB029132], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to M C Laven, April 16th, 1889

Editor's Notes

"Mr. Edison says in reply to your letter of 8th inst. That at present there is not much demand for Bismuth, on account of its high cost. He is of the opinion, however, that if this present price could be reduced one-half or one-third, a large market could be worked up for it in connection with various industrial uses. Mr. Edison would like very much to receive a sample of the ore, together with some description of [unclear], and an indication of the probably quantity &c." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
