Title
[LB029320], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to William S Perry, May 7th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I have this morning received a letter from Mr. E.H. Lewis, of Messrs. Eaton & Lewis, asking for a copy of the agreement under which Mr. Edison held stock of the Edison Phonograph does at the time of the sale to Lippincott. ### The document which Mr. Lewis wants is the pool agreement which was made prior to the sale to Lippincott, and of which we have no copy in our files. I have replied to Mr. Lewis's letter, stating that you would be able to furnish him with a copy of this contract, and would ask you to put him in possession of the same at the earliest possible moment, as it is important that he should have it at once. Please give this your prompt attention."
