- Editor's Notes
- "Signor Carlos Monteiro Souza has written me in relation to [unclear] for Brazil asking me to write you again with reference to himself##I have known Signor Souza for several years, and to my mind hwe is the most enterprising Brazilian whom I have ever met. He has a reputation here for dealing very successfully in Brazil with American inventions, more particularly the Telephone, and I am confident that you will not find a better man to push the Phonograph in Brazil. I would strongly urge you therefore to make an arrangement with him and I will be very much surprised if such an arragnement does not result to our mutual benefit." Yours very truly, [Signed] TAE
