- "Mr. Edison asks me to thank you for your very kind letter 12th inst. and to express his appreciation of the able assistance you have rendered in promoting a readjustment of the affairs which we discussed when you were in Orange. ### The gentlemen whome you name came to the Laboratory yesterday, Mr. Edison unfortunately being absent. They are coming again on Monday, and I confidently anticipate the restoration of harmonious relations [unclear[, Mr. Edison and the Company, and the former will extend his cordial cooperation in furthering the best interests of the Toy Phonograph business."
