"I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 11th instant, inferring me that you delivered to Mr. Samual Insull, in a container with my instructions, 1862 shares of Edison Gen'l Elec. Co. stock, and 975 Edison Gen'l Elec. Co. Trust stk. Certificates, the [unclear] being the collateral held by you against my note of Sept. 24th, 1985: also stating that you have debited the note to my a/c."
