- "Can you possibly let me have $25,000 for the Edison Phonograph Works on account of Phonographs delivered. I have been in twice to see you today but did not find you in. I have large amount of money to provide for the Phonograph Works for use tomorrow and Saturday +if you can help me out. I shall [unclear] of a favor. They have shipped upward of 1000 Phonographs to date I understand. ### Please also let me know by bearer (Mr. Butler) whether I can see you at your office between 4 & 4:30 today."
