- "We have received your letter of 1st inst. ### We would have written you before in regard to the property with you cabled to you for sale at [unclear] cents a square foot, had we not been under the impression that you were on the ocean, on your way to America, to which affect we were informed by Mr. Upton. Fifty cents per sq. ft. is [unclear] price for land. It is [unclear] that Bergmann & Co. [unclear] for their property in New York City, for Laboratory property set [unclear]. I shall be glad to know the [unclear] of your [unclear] in this connection.
