Editor's Notes
In further reference to your correspondence regarding ore consentration, we are sending you to-day, by express, a sample of concentrates obtained from the ore which you forwarded to us. In regard to the inquiries made in your letter of 10th ult., we beg to say that we do not sell our concentrating machinery as we have gone into the business of concentrating ourselves. We have two mills in operation and several others in course of construction. We only undertake to erect a mill and concentrate for a "fixed [unclear], providing the supply of ore and available market [unclear] conditions for permanency. To give approximate costs, we should be in possession of all data, such as location of mine, quantity of ore, average [unclear], distances to furnaces, cost of freightage &c. The smallest mill which we build is [unclear] tons of concentrates per day of 24 hours. We, of course, are willing to pay a liberal concession to parties who help us in obtaining lucrative contracts. Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
