- "Repyling to your letter of 20th instant, in regard to the Edison Phonograph Works: ### President. Thomas A. Edison: Sec'y & Treaser., A.O. Tate, DIRECTORS. Thos. A. Edison, Rob't L. Quiting, Charles Batchelor, Samuel Insull and Alfred O. Tate. ### I am going to call a meeting of the Directors for one day this week, and in view of my contemplated trip abroad, Mr. Insull will be elected Treasurer, so that if papers, which you are preparing are to be executed under a date later than the middle of this week, you can make use of this information."
