Title
[LB031063], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to William F Taylor (Pennsylvania), June 25th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Mr. Edison has a new battery that he hopes to have ready for the Phonoplex in two or three weeks. The numerous tests that have been made with this battery at the Laboratory would indicate that it will last over six months. He would like to put the battery on one of your circuits in Altoona office for a practical test of a agreeable to you. As soon as we are in [unclear] we will advise you and arrange for Mr. Logue to go to Altoona and put battery up, if the battery is as successful as we think it will be, we can furnish it for any or all of your offices if so desired."
