- Editor's Notes
- "A few days ago a lady wrote to me and sent the letter by a little asking me if I could get him a position as his mother was a widow and this boy was the oldest of four children and I obtained the boy a place this afternoon, and after doing so I found out he is only twelve years old and besides this one we still have another about the same age. ### He would like very much to keep these boys and I know that in both case it would be a great help to their parents to have them work, but we donot want to keep them if some day we will have to pay a fine for having them. ### Hoping to hear from you in regard to the above I remain." Very truly, John Randolph
