- "Your letter of 9th instant addressed to Mr. Edison, and of the 11th addressed to Mr. Tate, come duly to hard. The former has been sent to the Phonograph Works, and you will get an answer from them probably by same mail that you receive this. The letter I have sent to Tate, who is now in London, with the request that he will see Mr. Gouraud and cable me with relation to the territory you speak of.
