Title
[LB031383], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to William E Hibble, July 22nd, 1889
Editor's Notes
"Mr. Edison has received your letter of 11th instant, and in reply says that you can take lumber on account of the smoke stack; also, you can go ahead with the carpenter work which you refer to. ### With reference to your letter of 16th instant, I return herewith bills enclosed therein. Kindly send bills for goods which were sued for Mr. Edison's benefit, and charge Gilliland for his portion. In future keep the two accounts entirely separate. Your understanding as to charges for wharf repairs, as expressed in your letter of 16th inst., is correct—that is one-half is to be charged to Gilliland, and one-half to Mr. Edison." Yours truly, AO Tate
