- [LB033322], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Samuel Insull, October 30th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- In a letter which we have received from the Secretary of the Edison Phonograph Toy M'f'g. Co. under date 26th instant, he says: 'We are anxiously awaiting the receipt of the model talking machines from you.' Mr. Batchelor says that this is the first intimation he has received of their desire for model talking machines, in addition to the one which was delivered to them by yourself, and he wants to know if you received from them any order for the same. We have received no instructions from the Toy Phono. Co. in regard to making model machines and are not working on any. Yours truly, A.O. Tate
