- Title
- [LB033393], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Cornell University, Robert Henry Thurston, November 4th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- Mr. Edison has asked me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 18th ultimo. He regrets exceedingly that it will be impracticable for him to accept your very kind invitation to visit Cornell. Since his return from Europe, Mr. Edison has commenced work on a new line of experiment which will keep him very busy for some time to come, rendering it impracticable for him to leave home even for a short time. Very truly yours, AO Tate
